In summer 2024, Networks Centre Scotland and Leviton collaborated to supply a repowering project at Scotland’s oldest onshore windfarm with custom rodent-resistant fiber cables featuring bespoke printed sheaths.

Despite a tight 4-5 week lead time, the fiber was manufactured and delivered efficiently, thanks to the proximity between Leviton’s Glenrothes facility and Networks Centre’s Glasgow office. The project emphasized sustainable practices and precise logistics, ensuring timely delivery and minimal waste.
