Our approach
Sustainable development and ESG — Environmental, Social and Governance — are a central part of Alcadon Group's business.
The driving forces come both from our customers, employees and other stakeholders, and from the business opportunities that a focus on sustainable solutions creates. We therefore work purposefully to integrate ESG into both business processes and daily operations. This means taking responsibility from an economic, environmental and social perspective; from improved working conditions in the supplier chain to ethics, human rights and environmental work. These areas are fundamental in all operations within the Alcadon Group.
We are aware that our operations affect people and the environment, and we take responsibility for this impact. Our customers place high demands and we know that responsible conduct is a prerequisite for maintaining their trust. Since 2023 we therefore calculate our climate footprint in accordance with the GHG Protocol (Greenhouse Gas Protocol), which is described in more detail in the sustainability report.
All companies within Alcadon Group shall act as responsible business partners and conduct their operations with high integrity. This includes business ethics, anti-corruption, respect for human rights, good working conditions, equality and diversity, and efficient resource use.
Focus areas
The practical sustainability work is carried out in the Group's subsidiaries and is integrated into their daily operations. Based on our stakeholder and materiality analysis, the Board and Group management have identified three focus areas for the sustainability work:
